Bad Business = Good Business For Debt Collectors

The recession has forced business-to-business debt to rise to nearly 40 percent. But that’s good business for debt collection agencies, including one in Plano, Texas. (Aug. 19)

One of ‘em called me giving me shit about my daughter’s debt. Told ‘em she’s 24 & lives 1200 miles away from me. Haven’t seen her in two years. Didn’t matter to him. Said I was her father so I now have to pay her debt. Bullshit. Can’t believe the depths of depravity of these collectors. No wonder everyone thinks they’re garbage scum.

But its a bill that you have accrued…? You go to the doctor and think that it is free? Or you dont pay your gas bill? Yeah there are programs like liep that are funded fedarally but we are all therefore paying for it… Not all collection agencies use good tactics or follow the collection laws but dont get pissed off at the ones that do and will work with you.

Debt collector’s need to eat too. There are more jobs out there that are much worse then this. I leave you with this message: “I owe, I owe, it’s off to work I go.”

So if a business or individual is broke and near bankruptcy, how does the collection agency plan to collect. Usually such debts are non-secured debt; therefore, carry no weight in bankruptcy court. Or did this change since I had last taken my contracts law class?

I didn’t answer collection phone calls for 2 years then filed chapter 7
I don’t waste my time with these low life huslters. They buy your balance for a 10 cent on a dollar and try to make up to 1000% profit, paying them doesn’t help your credit score anyway.
If you don’t have cash in the bank DO NOT BUY.

I’ve never been in debt. But if i was and a collector called me I would simply hang up. Ignore them completely. It’s your right. There is nothing they can do.
